Kiss the Waves

 

'As the rain and the snow came down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making ti bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." Living in exile and in servitude under the Babylonians, they longed to be liberated and return to the land God had given them. When I find myself in stormy seasons, I long to be liberated from them. But I can become overly focused on the storm, on my circumstances. I sometimes forget the words God has spoken to me. Words of hope. Words that carry power.
