Welcome to Page Turner Tuesday Life in a Larger Story's book club 2016 YES PLEASE! By Amy Poehler I loved listening to this audiobook read by the author, Amy Poehler. It was recommended to me by one of my dear friends who is a follower of Jesus. She secretly said, "I know you will love this book, but it wouldn't be for the more conservative Christ follower." She warned me. I had to laugh and put it at the top of my list. Amy invites a few guest readers into her audio booth for the reading and that adds interest to the book. She speaks frankly about everything from sex, drugs, parenting, show business, friendship and her career. I found it refreshing. I laughed a lot. Her openness shocked me at times. Honesty is my favorite medium so I appreciated her openness. Her language is colorful, witty and succinct. She uses illustrations, stories and humor in just the right moments to tell her story.
