MAKING REAL ESTATE PICTURES POP
Adding pops of color to the home for the marketing pictures.
FUN: Through the roof! LOVED this project!
PROJECT DETAILS:
My mom's real estate broker asked her to add center pieces to her tables that were bright in color. After a few long days of prep work, I asked my mom how I could help? She needed me to go to the store and buy the flowers and arrange them. She knew she wanted to include sun flowers in the arrangement. She also asked me to buy fruit for her fruit basket to make it full of color. I was happy to help! Check out how it turned out!
I choose these flowers for the arrangements full of amazing color. |
CHOOSING FLOWERS?
These arrangements centered around sun flowers for their brilliant color and orange gerber daisies because they spark joy to the arrangements. The rest of the flowers and greens were complimentary flowers.
ARRANGING: I set the three vases in a row. As I cut one type of flower, I tried to add the same to each vase. I wanted the vases to feel balanced and similar. I added the flowers first then the greens. I rearranged them as I saw fit. I turn the arrangements to make sure they look good on all sides.
I wanted this to look simple and sophisticated.
CHOOSING FLOWERS: For this arrangement I choose red roses because they signify love and they are sophisticated and classic. Roses are often paired with white baby's breath. I wanted to add white in this arrangement, but I wanted the white to add elegance. I choose lilies and hydrangea. After arranging the flowers I added sophisticated greens. I choose boxwood, a variegated greens and lemon leaves. I loved how the boxwood stood tall and held it's form in this arrangement. The variegated greens tied the white in. I love lemon leaves for their rich green color.
FABLOUS FRUIT
I choose fruit based on it's appearance. I can't wait until this shoot is over so my mom can enjoy this fruit.
CHOOSING FRUIT: I chose yellows, reds, orange light and dark green. As I arranged the fruit I placed opposing colors next to each other. This full fruit basket made her kitchen look friendly and inviting for the pictures. In truth, my mom is incredibly hospitable and if you here visiting you would always find her fruit basket full and she would be waiting to invite you in and enjoy.
PROJECT 4.5
