60 Day Challenge Beginning Week 3

We just celebrated Father's day and we went out to Hagen Daz for Scott's favorite peanut butter chocolate ice cream. I'm not letting the 60 day challenge RULE. I am living, loving and celebrating too! Balance.

Here are a few highlights of the past few weeks.
ZIGGY"S! I went through the drive thru and got my mom a coffee. I didn't get one! I have not had a candy bar coffee while being on this challenge. My BFF Jess was on the other side of the drive thru. I looked over and thought, "WHAT! Is that person taking my picture?" I was so surprised it was Jess I couldn't stop laughing.

Love this coffee shop. Love this friend.

My daughter is trying out Life Time for the first time. We have been sampling classes together. I love mother daughter quality time at the gym!

I tried to be healthy and drink a juice with 'super greens'. I have a VERY sensitive stomach and I should have known better. I threw up twice and my stomach was still in knots. After trying everything else, only these fries helped me uncurl from the couch. There is something about the basic PH of fries that coats my stomach when I can't get up. It begged Jess to get me fries. It was that bad. I've gotten pretty good at managing my diet, so this only happens a few times a year. YES, I will include the not so awesome picts too!

I weigh in on Tuesdays. I lost 3 pounds.I'm a little nervous to show you that because what if I plateau or gain again? Deep breath. I'm trying to be okay being real here. It scares me.

I climbed the Manitou Incline with all these other strong 60 challenge peeps from Life Time Westminster. I would have never tried this on my own. It was awesome! Thanks for getting me out there!

Incredible view on the way down!

Made it to the top in 60 minutes! WOW! Bucket list - CHECK!

This is my friend Liz! She is the friend who got me to sign up for this challenge. Thanks LIZ!! I'm so thankful to have a great friend to adventure with! Do you see how steep that is.

AHHHH! We DID IT!!!! Liz and I have kids the same age. We both LOVE being mom's and it was also so nice getting out there and doing something for ourselves. We had great conversation! We helped each other up that steep incline! We pushed each other to get to the top and we made it in 60 minutes. We stopped to rest and recover as often as we could in the shade of the tall pines on the side of the steps. We drank all of our water. This was an amazing adventure! I'm really proud of us right here in this moment. Deep breath in full of gratitude!

Strong. Doing my best. Not perfect, but this is me.

See a change?

I see the most change here... but not too much.

My tan line are changing and I REALLY NEED A HAIRCUT!!

After my Dad's day celebration, this is a good reminder to get back on track. I love you all and hope you had a happy Father's day. I lost my daddy about 6 years ago. I sure miss him. I'm thankful for the amazing man my hubby is to our kiddos. I am thankful for my Father, God who is and was and is to come. Holding on to him on this day full of joy and sorrow. XOX
