Arrangement of the Week
A kitchen with flowers makes me happy. You? Summer flowers are the best! King Soopers has amazing flowers right now. I'm having really good luck there lately! It is no Pike's Market, but the summer selection is nice.
This arrangement includes: Lavender and Plum colored Stock & Soft White Hydrangea.
How do you choose flowers for your arrangements?

Flowers in your home should spark JOY!
LOOK IN THE SEPARATE STEMS SECTION. My grocery has beautiful bouquets, and then on the side they have individual flowers of a single type. This section usually has seasonal beauties. Go to this section and pick up the flower you are drawn to. Get the most beautiful one you see!
Make it stand out! Once you are holding the flower you are most drawn to, find a flower that compliments it. Try a complimentary color or a different shape. How do the greens look around your first choice. Add greens to make your color pop. If you are stuck, find inspiration from other arrangements in the area. Notice colors they grouped together.
Choosing this arrangement. I grabbed the plum purple Stock. Then I grabbed the lavender Stock to compliment the plum Stock. The Stock is tall and narrow so I wanted to add fullness, but I had enough color. I chose the white hydrangea for it's soft color, full shape and beautiful leaves. I considered getting greens but the leaves were plenty to add green. It turned out amazing. The Stock was $5 each and the Hydrangea was $7. I got two beautiful seasonal bouquets. Flowers spark joy for me!
