Habits to Heal
I have found this tool from my step study SUPER helpful! I run myself through this when I have a big reaction. It's proving to be SUPER helpful and healing.

2. What was the cause: (3 C's) Why Am I Angry or resentful? (i.e. did I cause it, how have I tried to control it, is it in my power to cure it? Did my action contribute to the problem
3. What part of me was hurt or threatened:
Self esteem
Pride
Emotional security
Financial
Emotional/material ambitions
Personal Relations
Sex Relations
4. What was my part:
Dishonest
Selfish
Manipulating/martyr/managing/mothering
Frightened
Inconsiderate
Not to Blame/inconsiderate
5. The Specific nature of our Wrongs: Be Specific. Example - Lying about addiction, cheating on spouse
6. Where do I see God working?
 
There are notes on using this tool, like if abuse is involved, this tool doesn't work, don't use it for that situation. Remember I'm not a therapist or a counselor or a professional… always go to a professional if you are in need of help. These are just tools that are helping me.
