Not-So-Favorites

Just in case you were wondering what were my, not-so-favorites of this week. I'd hate for you to be mislead and think it's all sunshine and roses over here. 

Top 5, Not-So-Favorite things this week:

5. Needles. Scott, had a few hour stay at the hospital this week, (don't worry- he's fine! All clear, all good). He had to be put under and instead of a loving goodbye I ran out of the room before I fainted. I had to convince myself to let the nausea pass and that I was not going to be that girl. Needles.

4. Clean house. I used to think, I wish my house looked like a magazine. Now I think people who live like this must be anxious and neurotic. This, not letting your house look 'lived in' life is awful. It's fake and clearly not for me. Come on house.... Sell!

3. Sleepless nights. I've been restless and anxious about some serious things this week. It sucks not sleeping well.

2. Emotional eating. I'm trying to eat healthy but binged on Chick-Fil-A and chocolate chocolate chip Hagen Daze ice cream in a few moments of, 'who the.... cares' what I eat today. Today was for real and I can eat whatever. Cue happy meal. 

1. Boogers. My nice and clean house was perfect. Then, the morning of our first showing came and I'm going over the final touches. I spot boogers. Boogers cemented straight ahead in plain eyesight for all to see. I nearly touched them. No time at that moment to remove them, they looked permanent. I had to hide them. Yep, hiding boogers! We laughed about it later. Seriously, when humans (of any age, though primarily young children) use furniture and other household items to wipe their noses and faces on, that's nasty. Then, you find that shit years later. Gross!!!! Careful where you put your hand! Nope, not cleaning it. I'm throwing that thing out when we move. I'll be hiding boogers for the next few weeks, unless I throw that thing into early retirement. Evil laugh! 

There it is 5 not-so-favorite things this week. 

It's Friday! I no longer work weekends! It feels like a real weekend for the first time in a long time. We are getting our weekend ON! The best part of the weekend is relaxing and laughing with the ones we LOVE.
