Parenting a middle school kid is tough and wonderful. It's amazing seeing the person they are becoming. They are beyond sweet, wild, sassy, engaging, delightful and dreary and all these things can change from minute to minute. This morning, instead of getting out of bed right away, Scott and I took a minute to pray. YES, we pray for our parenting (which we don't do enough). We are walking a path of uncharted territory for our family. I came across a great article in the Huffington Post today on middle school kids.
