I just returned home from visiting a few of my dear friends on the east coast!  I started in a sweet little apartment just off the Hudson visiting my girl friend and her husband.  We went to an incredible Moroccan restaurant called Shalel Lounge.  It is a little romantic cave hidden in the Manhattan rock.  I was engaged in the most amazing story of miracle after miracle and the hesitant hope of a child.  Heart warming and I just can't help but get teary with gratitude.  Then we went home to be loved on by Ama their little big eyed pup who turns his head as if to say, "really"!  We racked out and in the morning her hubby and I talked shop. LOVE.  Rebecca treated me to a yoga class she instructs at the upper east side ballett school.  LOVE.  Lunch with another dear friend, and my little girls name sake.  I have never seen her happier.  That is simply so GOOD.  I can't get enough time in with my girl friends in the city.

Then Kristina picked me up.  She can parallel park that big ass black suburban any where on those car-lined-curbs of SOHO.  Really impressive.  We parked right in front of the season winning shop of the Cupcake Wars!  Baked by Melissa, the Cookies and Cream is to-die-for!  Best cupcake ever!! Yes, we had our dessert planned before we even made it to our amazing french dinner at Balthazar. We drove home passing the freedom towers, standing around ground zero.  Sobering.

We just hung out all weekend.  It was just what girl friends do.  I miss her terribly!  Her children are witty and bright and they laugh a lot. She is a rock star mom and wife and I am so proud of her.  Character is made in trials, I see gold shining through and a whole lot of Jesus!  I about passed out in a hot yoga class she took me to.  This girl is not used to the humidity! I laid in corps pose for the final 20 minutes of class:)  She hosted a Norwex party for me and she is doing a give away on her blog for the awesome dusting mit!  It's a must have!  Here is a link to her blog.  Once you get there you will see why I had some good laughs and her posts are awesome!

It is good to be home.  The excitement of school is rising in the air!  Class lists are posted tomorrow.  Do you remember how fun that was?
